This Austrian family business is one of the first and few European companies to produce certified organic CBD products. In their sunny, organic fields, industrial hemp grows without the use of fertilizers, pesticides or weed killers. The flowers used for the CBD oil and other products are carefully picked by hand. The leaves are further processed into teas and herbal blends, and the seeds are used to produce hemp seed oil for consumption and as a base for their CBD oil. It is interesting to know that the company really does not let anything of the hemp plant go to waste: the residual material goes to another Austrian company that makes sustainable insulation boards from it.

Quality

All Medihemp CBD products have all the necessary certificates (Austria Bio Garantie GmbH) and are produced according to the guidelines of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the Austrian Food Safety Agency (AGES). They also regularly test their products themselves and have this done again by an external laboratory.

For example, the CBD products are not only tested for the amount of cannabinoids, but also for the possible presence of more than 200 different substances. Medihemp makes its analyzes and test reports available per batch on their website, so you can see exactly which cannabinoids and other substances are in the CBD product.
